Core Values

Our Mission

To combat human trafficking through education, advocacy, and youth-led initiatives that empower individuals and communities to stand against exploitation—locally and globally

Our work is grounded in three core pillars:

We equip young people and communities with the tools, leadership opportunities, and resources to take action, support at-risk individuals, and foster lasting change.

Through outreach, workshops, campaigns, and events, we spread awareness about the realities of human trafficking, helping people recognize the signs, understand the risks, and take preventive measures.

By challenging systemic issues, advocating for stronger protections, and working alongside partners at every level, we are dedicated to dismantling the conditions that allow trafficking to persist.

Youth Leading Change

As the largest youth-led anti-trafficking organization in Toronto, DAWN believes in the power of young people to lead, innovate, and drive meaningful impact. We equip youth with the tools, knowledge, and platform to raise their voices, challenge injustice, and create safer, more informed communities.
